Overview
The Altoida NeuroMarker Platform is a digital cognitive assessment tool leveraging neuroscience, machine learning, augmented reality, and sensor data for early detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's. It transforms traditional pen-and-paper assessments by using tasks that simulate daily activities, capturing motion, speech, and touch data for analysis. The self-administered, in-clinic assessment takes 10 minutes, providing objective results in real-time. The platform aims to enhance care by enabling continuous cognitive function monitoring, personalizing treatment paths, and tracking progress over time. It integrates advanced diagnostics into primary care, facilitating earlier interventions and potentially improving patient outcomes in neurodegenerative diseases. The platform uses a combination of cloud-based processing for machine learning inference, and edge processing on the tablet for data capture.
