Specialist application for literature review, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

EPPI Reviewer is a specialist software application designed to support all types of literature review, including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, ‘narrative’ reviews, and meta-ethnographies. Developed by the Evidence for Policy & Practice Information Centre (EPPI-Centre) at University College London, the platform facilitates robust and responsive reviews informing policy and practice. It is built to handle large volumes of data and offers functionalities such as coding, data extraction, and synthesis. It also supports mixed methods evidence synthesis. Integration with AI and machine learning enables automation in the systematic review process, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual workload. The architecture is designed to enable collaborative working, with features to manage user access and track contributions.
