Future Audio Workshop's Notes is a virtual instrument designed to spark creativity and accelerate music production. It combines chord generation with layered sound engines (Sampler, Synth, multi-sampled instruments) and expressive effects. Users can play full, expressive chords using white keys and transform the chord's behavior with black keys, recording directly to their DAW. The Lab feature allows users to sample chords from any loop, instantly transforming them into playable elements. Notes supports VST, AU, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows. The instrument includes a 'Blob' macro for instant sound transformations and offers diverse sound palettes ranging from analog synths to lo-fi textures.
