Overview
K3s is a lightweight Kubernetes distribution designed for running production Kubernetes in resource-constrained environments. Packaged as a single binary less than 70MB, it reduces dependencies and steps needed to install, run, and auto-update a Kubernetes cluster. K3s is fully certified by CNCF, ensuring compatibility with standard Kubernetes workloads. It excels in edge computing, IoT devices, CI, and ARM64 architectures. It supports both ARM64 and ARMv7 with binaries and multiarch images available. K3s can run on devices as small as a Raspberry Pi to larger AWS servers.
