Redirection

Redirection is a WordPress plugin designed to manage 301 redirections, track 404 errors, and generally tidy up loose ends on a website. It doesn't require Apache or Nginx knowledge, simplifying redirect creation through the WordPress interface. The plugin supports regular expressions for pattern matching of URLs and automatically creates redirects when posts or pages change permalinks. It can conditionally redirect users based on login status, browser, or referrer. All redirects are logged with details like visitor information, browser, and referrer, and these logs can be exported. By tracking 404 errors, administrators can identify and fix broken links, improving site ranking and user experience. The plugin also offers the capability to export redirection rules to Apache .htaccess files or Nginx rewrite rules for improved performance. Import and export functionality supports CSV, JSON, and other redirect plugins like Simple 301 Redirects.
