RoomScan Pro allows users to generate floor plans of buildings using their iPhone or iPad. It leverages the device's camera and, if available, LiDAR scanner to measure rooms and create detailed layouts. The app is primarily used by real estate professionals, architects, interior designers, and anyone needing to document building interiors. RoomScan Pro uses a 'Touching Walls' method to simplify scanning, requiring users to touch the device against walls to measure distances. Beyond basic floor plans, the app captures building exteriors, yards, and gardens. It supports annotations using Apple Pencil and offers 3D modeling capabilities to visualize properties. Floor plans can be exported in various formats like PDF, PNG, DXF, IFC, XML, and more for compatibility with CAD and BIM software.
