The server automatically searches for suitable templates, builds models, and assesses their quality. Recent updates include the integration of AlphaFoldDB structures as templates and an API for accessing OpenStructure actions. SWISS-MODEL is developed by the Computational Structural Biology Group at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and the Biozentrum of the University of Basel and is an ELIXIR Core Data Resource.
