PlanGrid, now part of Autodesk Construction Cloud, is a cloud-based construction management platform designed to streamline project workflows. It focuses on providing real-time access to project plans, issues, photos, forms, and other critical documents for general contractors, subcontractors, and owners. PlanGrid integrates with Autodesk Build, leveraging features such as asset tracking, model-based tracking, cost controls (budget, expense, change order, forecasting), and machine learning-based risk analysis. The platform supports mobile access through the PlanGrid Build app on iOS and Android, as well as a Windows desktop application. Key functionalities include managing users and licenses via the Admin Console, ensuring everyone on the project has access to the most up-to-date information. It promotes efficient communication, reduces errors, and enhances overall project visibility, with Autodesk Build representing the next evolution by incorporating BIM 360 capabilities.
