About The Fashion Pact
The Fashion Pact is a global coalition bringing together companies in the fashion and textile industry (ready-to-wear, sport, lifestyle and luxury) all committed to a common core of key environmental goals. It centers on three areas: mitigating climate change, restoring biodiversity and protecting the oceans. Launched in August 2019, it now includes over 60 brands, representing over 200 brands, committed to concrete action. The Pact establishes shared environmental objectives focusing on the development of concrete actions, and driving collaborative projects. It promotes the sharing of best practices and knowledge to accelerate industry-wide progress towards a more sustainable future. The initiative uses data collection, monitoring progress against set targets, and public reporting to ensure accountability and transparency.
